I wrote up a bit on this specific topic in an earlier email to the
list. The basic expectation is that at the users of Bengali language
on Android devices viz. handsets and, slates/tablets which run on ICS
and above will have able to input in Bengali with much ease than they
do now.

The form on the GSoC 2012 application system will ask you a few
questions in terms of your familiarity with the project ideas, the
amount of time you will be able to commit and so forth. Our IRC
